AHEAD First Transnational Capacity Building Workshop in Zanzibar, Tanzania
The first Capacity Building Workshop within AHEAD project took place in the beautiful premises of the Institute of Tourism of the State University of Zanzibar between 10-12 of July 2018. The 39 representatives of the partnership organizations gathered to view the research results achieved so far and to discuss the impact and quality of the deliverables that are being produced. Good practices for implementing the knowledge triangle were presented by the EU HEIs and the PC universities’ experience with inclusive innovation was discussed.
The work groups focused on identifying working approaches and key steps for implementing the knowledge triangle in the AHEAD PC universities, as well as the requirements for the open educational resources (OERs) and the Resource Pack on Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship Education. During the second day the collaborative work addressed the preliminary scoping reports for creating Innovation for Development Hubs and the forthcoming organization of internal discussion panels at the PC universities.
A project management meeting was also carried out where the technical and financial project implementation were reviewed. The partnership identified the next steps and validated the distribution of tasks and activities for advancing inclusive innovation for development!
